Dakota Johnson has opened up about an accidental caffeine overdose that she experienced, calling it one of the worst experiences of her life.

The actress was speaking to Elle UK about her new film, "The Lost Daughter," when she revealed that she had accidentally consumed too much caffeine, leading to a terrifying experience.

"I had an accidental overdose on caffeine once," Johnson said. "I was working on a film in New Orleans, and I was really tired. I had a double espresso, and then I had a Red Bull, and then I had another double espresso. And then I started feeling really weird."

Johnson said that her heart started racing and she began to feel very anxious.

"I thought I was going to die," she said. "I was having a full-blown panic attack. I went to the hospital, and they gave me some Ativan, and I was fine. But it was one of the worst experiences of my life."

Caffeine is a stimulant that can cause a number of side effects, including increased heart rate, anxiety, and insomnia. In rare cases, caffeine overdose can be fatal.

Johnson's experience is a reminder that it is important to be aware of the potential side effects of caffeine and to consume it in moderation.

Here are some tips for avoiding caffeine overdose:

  • Start with a small amount of caffeine and gradually increase your intake as needed.
  • Avoid caffeine if you are sensitive to its effects.
  • Be aware of the caffeine content of different foods and drinks.
  • Do not take caffeine supplements without talking to your doctor.

If you experience any negative side effects from caffeine, stop consuming it and talk to your doctor.
