Birmingham City Will Be Without Five Injured Players Against Wrexham

Birmingham City Handed Triple Injury Blow Ahead of Wrexham Clash

Key Players to Miss Emirates FA Cup Fourth Round Tie

Long-Term Absentees Add to Boss' Selection Headache

Birmingham City have been dealt a triple injury blow ahead of their Emirates FA Cup fourth-round clash with Wrexham.

Manager John Eustace confirmed that Gary Gardner, Przemyslaw Placheta, and Dion Sanderson will all miss the match through injury.

Gardner has been sidelined with a hamstring problem since December, while Placheta has been out with an ankle injury, and Sanderson has been struggling with a back injury.

The trio join a lengthy injury list for Eustace, who is already without George Friend (knee), Jordan James (ankle), Nico Gordon (knee), and Emmanuel Longelo (knee).

The news is a major blow for Birmingham City, who are looking to build on their impressive recent form in the Championship.

They have won four of their last five league games and will be confident of beating Wrexham, who play in the National League.

However, the injuries to Gardner, Placheta, and Sanderson will undoubtedly weaken their team.

Eustace will now be forced to make changes to his starting lineup for the match against Wrexham.

He will hope that his players can cope with the disruption and secure a place in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
