Embarking on a cruise vacation can be an exciting experience, but it's essential to be aware of the policies regarding pets. Most cruise lines, including Carnival, have strict rules prohibiting pets on board.

Carnival's Pet Policy

Carnival Cruise Line strictly prohibits pets on its ships, with the following exceptions:

• Service animals

Note that emotional support dogs are not recognized as service animals by Carnival and are therefore not permitted on board.

Planning Your Arrival

Guests who wish to bring service animals on board Carnival ships must:

• Provide documentation from a licensed veterinarian stating that the animal is a certified service animal.
• Submit the documentation to Carnival at least 45 days before the cruise.
• Arrive at the cruise terminal within their designated Arrival Appointment time.

Failure to comply with these requirements may result in the denial of boarding for the service animal and its handler.
